Itinerary

Upon your arrival at Paro Airport, be prepared for a scenic drive to the enchanting capital city, Thimphu, situated at an altitude of 2320m/7656ft above sea level. The 1-hour 30-minute journey showcases panoramic views of the Himalayan Mountains, including the majestic Mt Everest (8848m/29,198ft) if weather conditions permit. A warm welcome awaits you, and our representative will guide you to the hotel.
As you journey towards Thimphu, make a stop at Tamchhog Lhakhang, a temple constructed by Thang Thong Gyalpo of Tibet, known for building numerous iron bridges throughout Bhutan. Continue to the Kuenselcholing View Point, offering a splendid overview of the Thimphu valley and featuring the impressive Buddha point (Kuensel Phodrang). Pay your respects to the largest statue in the country and take a leisurely stroll to absorb the scenic beauty.
Explore the Memorial Chorten, a 1974 construction dedicated to the third King of Bhutan, King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck. Embark on a scenic 6-hour drive from Trongsa to Punakha, situated at an elevation of 1350m/4455ft above sea level. Delve into Bhutanese history as you explore the fortress, which served as a royal seat until the time of the second king.
Continue your exploration with a hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the Temple of Fertility.
