Khopra Dada Trek

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative will warmly welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. A detailed briefing about the trek and necessary permit collection will be provided.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Pokhara via the Prithivi Highway. Enjoy picturesque views of the Trishuli River, traditional villages, and glimpses of the Himalayan peaks. Pokhara, nestled amidst the Annapurna Mountain range, offers stunning vistas and diverse adventure opportunities. Check in to the hotel and explore the lakeside at your leisure.

An early morning start takes you to Nayapul, the trek's starting point. A 2-hour drive provides insights into Nepalese life, with Mount Fishtail as a backdrop. Begin the trek to Ghandruk, a famous Gurkha village, exploring its unique culture and enjoying a sunset view of Mt. Annapurna South.

Ascend towards Tadapani through Bheri Kharaa, known for lush greenery and diverse flora and fauna. Encounter Himalayan birds and enjoy views of Mt. Fishtail and Annapurna.

Leave the main trail, trekking through a less frequented path. Walk through dense rhododendron forests with the majestic Fishtail as a companion. Reach Dobato for splendid mountain views.

An early morning hike to Dobato's hilltop provides panoramic views of Lamjung, Annapurna (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), and more. Continue to Shistibung through lush forests.

Experience an exciting ascent to the top of the Vantage point, Kopra Ridge. Enjoy a 240-degree panoramic view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri range. Spend time soaking in the scenery.

If energized, take an early morning trip to the sacred Khayar Lake, associated with Hindu deity Lord Vishnu. Return to lodges for the night.

Descend through Khopra to Shistibung, then down to the river. Reach Swanta, a larger settlement with school and monasteries. Explore the village.

Rejoin the main trail, approaching the famous village of Ghorepani. Enjoy the vibrant blue rooftops and rhododendron forest. Witness the colorful display of rhododendron in April-May. Overnight at Teahouse

Gradually descend the stone-paved trail towards Ulleri. Enjoy lunch with views of Fishtail and Annapurna South. Descend the famous 3000 steps of Ulleri and stop at Tikhedhunga or continue to Hile.

Enjoy a soft descent to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara. Explore the city of Lake paradise on your own.

Choose between a mountain flight or scenic drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening, join a farewell dinner with Ambassador Himalaya Treks and Expedition.
