Overview

Set sail on an exhilarating adventure with our Manaslu larke pass Trek, a picturesque journey encircling the majestic Mt. Manaslu, the eighth tallest peak globally, standing at an impressive 8163 meters (26781 feet). Known as both Manaslu Round Trekking and Manaslu Circuit Trekking, this trail was officially opened to tourists by the Nepal Government in 1991 AD.

Derived from the local belief meaning ‘The Mountain with Spirit,’ Manaslu holds a sacred presence believed to be a benevolent and powerful holy being by the local inhabitants.

Immerse yourself in the splendor of nature and the richness of culture as you traverse through diverse ecosystems, ranging from 620 meters to 5160 meters above sea level. The challenging route along Budhi Gandaki treats you to cascading waterfalls, serene lakes, and captivating Buddhist monasteries in medieval Nupri villages.

Gain popularity among avid trekkers, the Manaslu trek offers a route filled with diversity, unexplored terrain, and a serene escape from the crowds. The Larke La Pass (5160 meters), one of the highest mountains passes in the Himalayan region, rewards trekkers with breathtaking views of Mount Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Ganesh Himal, and other towering peaks above 6000 meters.

Embarking from Arughat, a quaint town 126 km west of Kathmandu, the trek follows the Budhi Gandaki River, winding through green countryside and lush forests before entering the culturally rich Nupri zone. Encounter enchanting Buddhist villages like Samagaon, Sirdibas, and Samdo, where the local speech, dress, and customs bear a striking resemblance to Tibetan culture.

The journey culminates with a challenging ascent to the Larke La Pass (5125 m), offering panoramic views of the Himalayas and glaciers. The descent through alpine meadows leads to the main Annapurna Circuit route, concluding in Syange and Beshisahar.

Optimal trekking conditions prevail during autumn (Mid-September to November end) and spring (March to mid-May), featuring sunny and warm days with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 30°C. Night temperatures hover between 5°C to -10°C.
